In the new express entry draw held on April 14, 2021, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited 266 PNP Candidates to apply for Permanent Residence.
The CRS cutoff was 753, 25 points less than the previous PNP-specific draw.
It is to be noted that a candidate who got provincial nomination will be awarded 600 points automatically.
On April 14th express entry draw, Candidates with a minimum score of 753 and more were invited to apply for Canadian permanent residence, while the candidates with the exact cutoff requirement will undergo tiebreak rule where profiles submitted in Express Entry before March 01, 2021, at 15:22:18 UTC are given priority.
So far in 2021, IRCC has issued 49,390 ITAs to apply for permanent residence, the number is double the ITAs issued same time last year.
On February 13, 2021, IRCC issued invitations to 27,332 people, a record-breaking single-day feat in Canadian immigration history.
Post a decrease in the intensity of corona, the immigration levels surged and the February 13th draw created a huge impact.
