Canada Announced 100 million For Settlement Services To Support Permanent Residents
The Canada government revealed that they will allocate 100 million in funding for settlement agencies to ensure perfect settlement services for newcomers to help them settle and adjust to the Canadian community. Funds will be rolled out over the coming three years.
The funds are allocated through the program "Immigration Department’s Service Delivery Improvement (SDI)" for settlement service providers.
Settlement services include language training in English or French, Interpretation and translation of documents, and helping in finding a job or training as per the skills and education.
The other services include skill development as per the market, finding houses, Information about community services, schools, institutions, Healthcare system and medical facilities
Canada offers these services for free. The government's motive is to help the newcomers to survive in Canada and transform them so that they can integrate with the new way of life.
